As a television executive producer and writer, Jeff Mirkin has helped shaped televised game, gaming and reality shows, producing thousands of hours of programming including some of the entertainment industry’s biggest shows headlined by top stars including Jeff Foxworthy, Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest, Fred Willard, Bill Cosby, Mark Walberg and Pat Sajak. He has conceived, developed, written, Executive Produced and packaged entertainment, game, gaming, court and reality series for network, syndication and cable television, as well as for You Tube and other on-line platforms.
Mirkin has extensive experience as a development executive, having developed and sold shows with Ralph Edwards/Stu Billett Productions, Rysher Entertainment and Fremantle Media, where he was SVP of development during the development and launch of American Idol. Additionally, Mirkin has conceived, produced or written for dozens of pilots including The American Bible Challenge for Realtivity Television and GSN, Parking Games for Spike TV, Let's Make A Deal for NBC and The $64,000 Question for Dick Clark Productions. He also helped to create and develop and produce the hit dating show Studs for Fox Television, which launched a wave of next generation dating shows.
Mirkin has also produced and/or written a significant amount of on-line content including Fight of The Living Dead and a live seance entitled The Deadstream for You Tube in association with Alpine Labs and Black Box TV.
Mirkin additionally launched an on-line and mobile games company with Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak, where he co-created a game called Lucky Letters, which became the number one game on Big Fish Games and is still going strong after 7 years and millions of plays later.
